Towards Halal Passports: Mutual Recognition and greater global trade. A policy dialogue on developing trusted mechanisms for mutual recognition of halal certification and introducing the concept of a Halal Passport and inviting feedback from government representatives, halal authorities, and business leaders. The session will also explore its practicality, governance framework, and potential to streamline certification processes, promote mutual recognition, and facilitate greater trade and investment among participating economies.
